The Situation
The Habes family — Mohammad, his four sisters, and their elderly parents — have been displaced three times since October 2024. Their last shelter, a canvas tent near Deir al-Balah, was destroyed in winter floods. They now sleep in the open, using plastic sheeting and salvaged wood for cover.
This campaign will fund:
- A reinforced winter tent with insulated flooring (€800)
- Warm blankets, mattresses, and a cooking stove (€350)
- One month food parcel for 7 people (€450)
- Medical kit and hygiene supplies (€200)
Where Your Money Goes
100% direct delivery. We work with a verified local partner in Deir al-Balah who purchases supplies from wholesalers in Khan Younis. No international staff, no overhead, no deductions. We photograph every receipt and delivery.
About the Family
Mohammad is the eldest son and sole provider for his four sisters and ageing parents. Before the war he worked as a carpenter; his workshop was flattened in the first month of bombardment. His youngest sister was attending secondary school and dreams of becoming a nurse. The family needs stability — a dry, warm space — before anything else can be rebuilt.
